Mindful Presence, Compassionate Guide, Companion in Inner Discovery

Andrew O’Reilly (he/him) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) who offers mindfulness-based, trauma-informed therapy for individuals, children, families, and multicultural communities. With a background in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology, Andrew brings warmth, presence, and deep respect to his work with clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, family stress, and identity exploration.

Andrew believes that each person carries an innate wisdom—what he calls “brilliant sanity”—that can be uncovered and strengthened in safe, trusting relationships. He draws from mindfulness practices, relational therapy, and play therapy to support clients of all ages in reconnecting with their inner resilience and compassion.

He is certified in Play Therapy and has a special interest in supporting children, families, and highly sensitive individuals. Andrew also enjoys working with veterans, athletes, and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. He is known for his grounded, steady presence and for creating a space where clients feel both seen and empowered.

Andrew holds a Master’s degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology from Naropa University, and completed a two-year Mindfulness Teacher Training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. Outside of the therapy room, he finds nourishment in nature, rock climbing, hiking, meditation, and connecting with people from all walks of life.

Andrew offers therapy in-person in Boulder and online throughout Colorado.
