Yun Chung Mental Health Care in Boulder, LGTBQ and Identity confirming Therapist

Yun Chung (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Boulder, CO, offering affirming, personalized therapy for adults navigating gender identity, LGBTQ+ experiences, body image, cultural trauma, chronic disability, and self-reclamation. Her work centers on genuine human connection as a foundation for healing—and on honoring the unique intersections that shape each client’s story.

As a transfeminine therapist and immigrant, Yun brings a deeply embodied, multiculturally aware lens to her practice. She specializes in supporting transgender, gender non-conforming, LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kink-allied, and immigrant communities with warmth, authenticity, and care rooted in lived experience.

Yun holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver and a B.S. in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. Her integrative approach blends Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Sensate Focused Sex Therapy, and expressive arts to support healing through self-expression, identity integration, and nervous system attunement.

Fluent in both English and Korean, she provides a safe and affirming space for trans and gender non-conforming, LGBTQ+, kink-allied, polyamorous and immigrant populations.

Yun offers therapy in both English and Korean in-person in Boulder or online throughout Colorado.
